I got this book as a wedding present and still haven't cracked it open. I am even re-reading Julie and Julia for inspiration but I am still overwhelmed by all of the options! Seriously, though, you have it exactly right - start with the simplest and most satisfying recipe there is - the chocolate souffle. Now I'm inspired!
