I have not stored it beyond overnight in the fridge with the cookie dough on top. I would say a day or two but the cookie would soak up the moisture from the creme brulee. If you plan to do longer, you could store without the cookie dough.

Hi, we tried to make this recipe tonight. I was concerned because the ratio of cream to eggs in this custard recipe is very different from the one we have made, successfully several times, using the awesome passionfruit and vanilla bean creme brûlée recipes on this site. Unfortunately this recipe just doesn't work. The cookie dough seems fine, but the quantity of custard was WAY too little even though we doubled it. Also my concern that the egg to cream ration was too low was confirmed when the custards still were not set after 45 minutes in the oven. we followed the recipe to a tee. next time i will use my better judgment and go with your 8 yolk recipe. cookie dough creme brûlée is an awesome idea but this recipe, despite all the nice and enthusiastic people commenting above (none of whom i think actually cooked the recipe), isn't right.
