Oh man, I feel your pain. Bread is a whole different animal. I have had my share of disappointing bread loaves. But I think this looks really good!

Breadmaking is definitely a learning experience! But it is so rewarding once you get it down – nothing beats the taste (and smell!) of fresh bread! I think your loaf looks gorgeous!!

So glad you finally got this beauty right! I used to be terrible making bread since loaves would always turn out like bricks instead. One day, I tried my luck at croissants (gasp!), got them right, and my bread has always come up pretty decent if I may say so myself ever since ;–)
