Yes, you can double the recipe and bake in the size of a full bundt. The adjustments to baking time would depend on the size of the pan you plan to use but that would be the only thing you need to adjust. I dont have a full size red velvet bundt cake recipe but you have given me an idea :)

Hello! This is a great recipe! I loved the way the mini cakes tasted! Can it be doubled for a full size Bundt? Any advice you have is appreciated. (Or do you have a full size red velvet Bundt recipe? I checked and I didn’t see one but I may have missed it) Thank you, Bee.

Hi Cathy, I am sorry to hear. The cakes coming out of the bundt really depends on the kind of pan you use. Cook time also depends on how much you fill in the cake pans and oven temperature. As always, I suggest checking mid baking to ensure the cakes are baking well and to remove when a skewer inserted comes out almost clean. if more cooking time is needed you can also continue baking until the cakes are done baking. The batter can give slightly more than 6 but again depends on the size of your mini bundt pans.

My batch did not pop out of the pans, even though I seasoned them well, and the mini bundt cakes were top heavy. I think this recipe makes more than six minis. Cooking time was not long enough. Cool off time was not long enough, and they fell apart on me. All the crumbs and parts tasted good though. Maybe there needs to be better instruction as to how full to fill the mini bundt pans and if you have extra to fill more Bundt cups than 6.
