I love this recipe so much! Yesterday I made it for a friend and she said, it reminds her of her time as an au-pair in Canada long ago and she felt very cozy and nostalgic. That's the best compliment for a pie ever, I guess the only thing that bothers me is that I'm not American and struggle a bit with the measurement. But it always works out though, so who cares

I have not tasted pie before but this one is beautiful. I love berries especially blackberries . Looks yummy.

In reply to Shirley. Hi Shirley - if I let the mixed berries sit too long and accumulate juices, I drain the juices out. Always helps to keep the crust dry.
