Hi Doreen, yes the recipe says 1 egg AND 1 egg yolk. Also, the amount of caramels will depend on the size of your caramel squares. About 3/4 cup total was what mine turned out to be. I don&#039;t see any harm in a little extra caramel :)]]></description>
