In reply to Robyn. You can use Lipton onion soup mix and blend it into the flour. I would not try to make a paste and spread it on the bread before rolling up. It will be very strong, bitter, and nasty.

This looks completely “doable”. Being a very new baker (70 years old lol) would you please advise how I would add as a commentator suggested the onion soup mix (onion cheddar bread yes please)..would I leave out the other herbs? When would you use scallions if you use your initial herb combo?
I’d appreciate any help you could give my grandchildren will benefit too lol.

This recipe is a 5 star! Next time I might add a package of onion soup mix…what do you think?
