This looks like a wonderful recipe. Silly question…you used a “real sweet potatoe” as in the beige outer skin and light flesh kind? I think they are not always readily available in the stores I’ve been to in CA always. I know the purple yams are, which people sometimes call “sweet potatoes.” Can I use those too..the purple yam if I have any trouble finding sweet potatoes?
