How big are your sweet potatoes? It sounds like they might be too thin? Or maybe too big? I know I had trouble with the large sweet potatoes so I would cut them in half and attach the thicker part to the stake.

I have a really hard time getting my sweet potatoes to “catch” with this spiralizer. More often than not, the stake that the potato is on starts spinning rather than spinning the potato. Any recommendations to make this easier?
