-Granulated Sugar -Unsalted Butter -Heavy Cream -Fine Sea Salt -Irish Whiskey -Eggs -Cake Flour -Baking Powder & Baking Soda -Sour Cream -Vanilla Extract

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, melt the sugar. Whisk until all the sugar melts. Sugar will clump in the whisk but keep whisking.

Step 2

Let the sugar get to a deep amber color.

Step 3

In the bowl of a stand mixer (or large mixing bowl), using the whisk attachment, whip the butter on medium-high speed for two minutes.
