This vanilla rose cake with rose buttercream is a floral delight. A fluffy and moist vanilla cake with rosewater notes is frosted with vibrant whipped rose buttercream.

I am looking forward to a summer of events. So far there are birthday parties, weddings, cookouts, and baby showers planned and I need new and exciting cakes to bring. As the resident baker, this is my job!

Hey there friends! Summer has so many benefits and one of my favorites is spending time with my family picking fresh veggies and fruits. I know we can all agree that fresh is better when it comes to creating flavorful desserts. My family and I just went to a local strawberry field and picked about 25 lbs of fresh strawberries. If you have ever gone to pick your own food, then you know you always leave with way more than you anticipated once you finally make it to the checkout line.

Marshmallow Lava Cake

Hey there friends! Welcome to almost June! I know, I know; I can’t believe we are already this far into 2022. But that means we have a very important holiday coming up in just a few short days; Memorial Day, the unofficial start to summer! Well, this is mostly for those of us in the USA.

Anyway, let’s get to this Marshmallow Lava cake. I always think of summer when I think of marshmallows. Nothing beats roasted marshmallows and chocolate!! So these marshmallow lava cakes are exactly that. Summer in a mouthful.
