Hi friends! The holidays are quickly approaching, and I am up to my neck in planning! Even though our Thanksgiving will be small this year, I still want to make delicious dishes for my family. The more “normalcy” the better, right?

But with all of the menu planning and gift buying (plus having two little ones to keep occupied,) it doesn’t leave a whole lot of time to make our day-to-day dinners. Lately I’ve been leaning towards easier dishes, and that’s where this Sheet Pan Chicken came about!

Happy Friday friends! I hope you are excited for another fall weekend. We are on the road this weekend visiting some friends and I am excited to catch up with girlfriends I haven’t seen in months. We have a big reunion meal planned, almost like a Friendsgiving and I will be bringing this sweet potato pie recipe with me. It’s a Thanksgiving classic that is always a must on our table and is perfect for a Friendsgiving dinner. It’s also a great one to make a day or two before the big day to lessen the burden.

Hi friends! Before we get to this incredible sweet potato pecan pie today, I need to talk about shopping. Have you guys been out shopping lately? I have been doing a bit of shopping this week, despite my jet-lagged state. My sister is leaving soon and together we have been gathering gifts for family members. Usually shopping during the week is calmer and you don’t have to mangle through crowds of people. But no, that has not been the case this week. Everywhere we go is packed with holiday shoppers. Be it Target, TJMaxx, the Mall or even Walmart. Am I the only one who isn’t even thinking about holiday shopping yet?

I have another great fall recipe for you today! This brown butter sweet potato bread is simply amazing! Full of a bold sweet potato flavor, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves), and nutty brown butter, I am certain it will become a fall favorite in your kitchen soon. I have made it three times already and this recipe makes 6 mini loaves for gifting so I was able to bring some over to some friends.
