Fashion Fridays: Fall Boots
Hello friends!! Welcome to a new series here on Blahnik Baker; Fashion Fridays!. As you may have guessed from the blog name, I am addicted to shoes and all things fashion. I think it’s about time I started sharing this passion with you occasionally! I hope you are excited as I am 🙂 And what better place to start than with shoes!!
Fall is definitely here as the sweet 60 degree breeze this morning reminded me. Which means, it’s time to finally change that wardrobe!!! Can you tell fall is my favorite season? The beautiful scenery and leaves changing, apple picking adventures, all things pumpkin and great style of the season! In my opinion, every great outfit needs a killer pair of shoes to close the deal. And as my wardrobe is changing with the season so are my shoes. When it comes to fall shoes, everyone has their favorite trends. It’s always a great idea to start with a few must-have boots! With these you can build several daily outfits AND get your shoe fix (not that I have a problem at all!). Boots are incredibly versatile and stylish. Whatever your style is, you can find a favorite pair to fit it. Let’s not forget they also keep you warm and cozy as you sip on your cider.
Here are a few classic boots to get you started on your fall shopping:
What are your fall must haves when it comes to shoes?
I love this new series, and I LOVE fall clothes and shoes! I just broke down and bought a pair of boots because I’m so picky about them, and when they fit like a dream, you gotta get ’em! I love riding boots and booties. All of your features are gorgeous!
You are so right…when they fit, it’s like a dream 😉
The first pair of booties you have, I have. I love them & they’re so comfy. I love the tall boots too. I can’t wait to break out my thick socks and leggins. Yay! Happy Friday!
Oh Leslie I wish I had them all!! I love boots too much 🙂
Looking forward to more fashion fridays. Your selection of boots are on point Zainab.
Thanks Chichi!
Love this series girl! Yay for Fashion Fridays and boot season! Oh my gosh, I want everything on this page – eeks – don’t tell the hubs haha 🙂
I wont tell!!! U deserve at least a treat 😉
I wore boots for the first time yesterday and got some looks (in all fairness it was 80 degrees out). I’m one of those chicks – The second its September it is automatically boot weather. I own every type of boot – From ankle to over the knee. In fact, I have to officially move my summer shoes from my closet to the basement just so I can bring home the 5 pairs sitting under my desk at work. And the pairs I have hidden in a downstairs closet. I clearly have a problem.
Hahhah, I don’t blame you!!! You are my kind of girl and same here, I have 3 pairs of shoes under my desk at work 🙂
Gaaaaaah, Zainab, don’t do this to me!! I LOVE fall fashion so much and I’ve been dying to buy a pair of good leather knee high boots for years (my cheapness won’t let me do it). These are all so beautiful! I just bought a pair of motorcycle ankle boots on sale for $55 from $130 (woot woot! I love a good deal) but it’s still been too warm and sunny to wear them. I’m not going to say I wish for rain though because once it starts in Vancouver, it does.not.stop. Those ankle boots with the white, black and turquoise circles are calling my name. I need them!
NANCY!! We are kindred spirits 🙂 I love me a good deal too and always how I get in trouble.
how fun! This is totally just gonna make me lust after things I can’t afford, though, lol!
Right?? Same here!! Let’s lust together 😉
I LOVE this post! I’ll take one of each pair, please! I love fall boots and don’t get to wear them as often as I would like in Florida. This year I really want to invest in a few of the booties since most of my boots are riding boots. Love them all!
Same w/ me, Ashley! I live in Florida too and pretty much wear flip flops year-round. Haha. Even if it gets cold, they’re just so easy to throw on! I’m also keen on picking up some booties though… tall boots wouldn’t get much use from me, but I can definitely work in a pair of cute peep-toe booties!
I love this new Friday series, Zainab!!! I can’t wait to see what you’ll post each week!
Sarah lucky girls! I do like the 4 seasons but man is the winter rough lol!
Yeah, I sometimes wonder how I ever did it, growing up in Pennsylvania. I miss traditional spring and fall seasons, but winter I can still def do without! Haha. Hopefully this year won’t be a terrible one. 🙂
Hhaha I would love one of each too 🙂 Now I wish sometimes I have your troubles!
Yay for Fashion Fridays! I’m so excited you’re starting this! I can’t wait to see what’s to come! I’m a huge boot person. Now that we live in LA, it’s mostly ankle boots for me (year round), but I always love a good boot. And I’ve never owned a single OTK (Over the Knee) boot. Hopefully that happens soon!
Luci’s Morsels – fashion. food. frivolity.
What Luci?? No over the knee boots?? You need to come live in NY and enjoy the glories of them lol! Thank you for the help starting this series!!
I just wore my boots for the first time yesterday and was SO HAPPY! I even got to wear tights with them. I love fall weather 🙂
Oh my gosh that feeling is the best!!!! So in love with fall 🙂
I am so in love with this!!!! So excited about Fashion Fridays and I want every last boot you selected. You have awesome taste my dear!
THANK YOU!! you are the best 🙂
