He’s here!!
Meet Elliott Sallieu!!
He was welcomed into our family on Friday, July 31st at 9.23am and our hearts are beyond full. At 7lbs 12oz and 20.5 inches, he is a blessing we cannot get enough of. It’s been a very exhausting week but I am already loving being his mom.
Every day we are getting to know him. He has his days and nights mixed up for now which has been challenging for the hubs and I but we are adjusting slowly to his world. He loves cuddles, sleeping on daddy’s chest and lights. He does not like outfit changes, burp time, cold wipes or sleeping in the dark.
And as expected Mr J. is a great dad and has been the best partner during this trying first week. He goes back to work on Friday (hold me!!!!!) and I start my time alone with him.
Things will continue to be slow around here on the blog as my hands are busy at home. But don’t worry, there are more guest posts from amazing blogger friends coming your way.

He is just perfect!!! I can’t believe how handsome he is! The first couple of weeks can be a challenge for everyone, but it is so, so worth it right? Would you believe I actually miss those newborn days? Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out while you guys enjoy your time together!

That little boy is so precious — thank you for sharing these adorable photos! I know it’s hard, but so fulfilling at the same time. I was so afraid when my husband had to go back to work, but once you get into a rhythm, it’s all good! The best part is, this part doesn’t last too terribly long. Haha. Even though my baby is now 12 and I miss those cuddles in my rocker. Enjoy this special time. 😃
I’m scared he is leaving us and I hope I get into a rhythm soon lol! I want to believe you that it doesn’t last long so I will snuggle with him.

He’s absolutely gorgeous! Take your time we’ll be here when you return. Have fun with baby Elliot because they really do grow over night! 🙂 BTW- one my brother in laws is named Sallieu-beautiful name.
