Fashion Fridays: Fall Boots
Hello friends!! Welcome to a new series here on Blahnik Baker; Fashion Fridays!. As you may have guessed from the blog name, I am addicted to shoes and all things fashion. I think it’s about time I started sharing this passion with you occasionally! I hope you are excited as I am 🙂 And what better place to start than with shoes!!
Fall is definitely here as the sweet 60 degree breeze this morning reminded me. Which means, it’s time to finally change that wardrobe!!! Can you tell fall is my favorite season? The beautiful scenery and leaves changing, apple picking adventures, all things pumpkin and great style of the season! In my opinion, every great outfit needs a killer pair of shoes to close the deal. And as my wardrobe is changing with the season so are my shoes. When it comes to fall shoes, everyone has their favorite trends. It’s always a great idea to start with a few must-have boots! With these you can build several daily outfits AND get your shoe fix (not that I have a problem at all!). Boots are incredibly versatile and stylish. Whatever your style is, you can find a favorite pair to fit it. Let’s not forget they also keep you warm and cozy as you sip on your cider.
Here are a few classic boots to get you started on your fall shopping:
What are your fall must haves when it comes to shoes?
I really want short boots, and have wanted them for a few years since I saw them all over in France before they started popping up here, but I haven’t been able to find the perfect pair. I always feel like they fold funny at the ankle or just make me look short and stumpy. But they look so great on everyone else! WAHH
Oh I am very sure they look great on you! It’s sometimes hard to see things on our selves especially feet. But give it a try…maybe start with a cheaper one and see how you like them! U so can rock them 🙂
This is going to be one of my favorites! I.LOVE.boots. Seriously, I could buy one every week during the fall. Over the past couple years, I’ve accumulated a, um, lot. 🙂 Living in KS gives me a nice five month long window to wear them, so I might as well keep it varied, right? I like mixing up the tall and short ones, but if it has classy buckles, then consider it sold 🙂 Great post Zainab!
Thank you Mary Frances!! I wish I could wear mine more months too! Why can’t fall just be the season of choice?
Those Choo booties are EVERYTHING! Seriously – they are to. die. for. Now I want to go shoe shopping – perhaps I should see what’s in the fall/winter shoe stiletto closet first 🙂
Oooo you are just like me girl!! Those choo boots are dangerous!!
Love, love LOVE your new series! Fashion Fridays is going to be so much fun, and what a great starting post. These boots are amazing. I’m so excited for fall!!
Thanks Cate!! By the way, I am excited for Thursday!!
I LOVE boots! One pair I have owned for the last six years, and I think I have an emotional attachment to them. Boots are my favorite shoes to wear all through winter and fall, and now, I want to add every single one of these to my collection 🙂
I wish mine lasted that long. The brutal winters combined with my laziness to clean has not helped lol!
Boots are one of my favorite parts of fall! I have a pair of Lucky Brand boots that look a lot like the polyvore ones!
You kill me. All of my boots (except for two) are in storage! Ahhhh I totally did not plan to be jobless this long.
