Mixed Berry-Pineapple Smoothie
Start your day with this filling mixed berry-pineapple smoothie! With berries, pineapple, coconut and spinach, it is packed with good-for-you nutrients!
I had to make you a smoothie!! A healthy mixed berry-pineapple smoothie for a healthy start to the New Year.
To be honest, I am a smoothie junkie. Can I say that? Whoops! But seriously I am. I have broken a blender on my smoothie addiction. I make and drink smoothies all year round. I don’t care if it’s cold (oh baby, it’s cold outside right now), hot, perfect or steamy. I love me a glass of smoothie. And it is always fruity.
I was late to the addition of greens (kale, spinach, lettuce etc) to my smoothies but I started coming around a few months ago when I realized they can be delicious (and packed with lots of vitamins!!). This mixed berry-pineapple smmothie is one of my favorite ways to sneak in some greens into my morning drink (and trick Mr J in the process too). With 2 cups of spinach hiding in there, the tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut steal the show and make this smoothie a cup of bliss!
I’m sharing the recipe for this mixed berry-pineapple smoothie over on Delish Dish, the Better Homes & Garden blog. Come check out the recipe and share some of your favorite add-ins to smoothies. How do you sneak in some veggies and greens?

Agreed!! Thanks Jen!
I feel like this is a little bit of a dirty secret but…I’ve never had a green smoothie! I think I’ll start with yours though. Looks extra fruity!
It is a dirty secret…lol! I forgive you though 🙂
I love how sneaky the spinach is in this smoothie, Zainab! That + pineapple = perfection! Headed to check out the recipe now!
Thanks Alyssa!!
I love pineapple in my smoothies, this one sounds delicious!
Me too!!
I am a total smoothie addict too, and I’ve been at ’em hard core for the last week or so. And yes, my BlendTec waved the white flag just before Christmas. It was less than a year old but I worked that thing into the grave. This looks fantastic- love all the fresh and fruity flavors. Clicking over to Delish Dish now so I can download the recipe and make it tomorrow morning!
Hhahah I need a new blender definitely!! Thanks dear!
I go through phases where I make smoothies a lot. Right now I am going through one. I’m not really sure why they are only phases – probably because I never give myself enough time to make them before work in the morning! Totally loving your smoothie, Zainab. Can’t believe there is 2 cups of spinach packed into it!
I really do go through phases too. Smoothies and oatmeal are my options!
Z, gorgeous smoothie!!! and woot woot for the second post on Delish Dish!!! love this!
Thanks Alice! It’s so exciting!!
I always appreciate ways to shake up my smoothie routine. These flavors sound great!
Thanks Nora!!
I’m the same way! Love smoothies all year round!
I am such a huge smoothie junkie too girl. I have them all the time. I have gone through so many blenders that it isn’t even funny. This one is fantastic! Heading over to Delish Dish.
Hahhah same here!! I need a new blender stat!
I want to get into smoothies. Are they better for a dinner or as a breakfast kinda thing? I don’t know how well i’d do with the greens. Can ya taste them? I really wanna get on this smoothie train. WooooWooo!!! Thanks for sharing!
Leslie you really would love them. Start with lots of fruits, sweet fruits to get in the door. They can be both breakfast and snack. I love adding oatmeal to some of my breakfast ones to make them heavier. The greens are the next step and because I have lots of berries and pineapple here, you can’t taste them at all!
sounds great! i love using pineapple in smoothies 🙂
