Fashion Fridays: Fall Fashion Trends
Hi everyone!! TGIF which means it’s time for another round of Fashion Fridays here on Blahnik Baker.
Last week, we kicked off Fashion Fridays in honor of my not so secret obsession with shoes (but who isn’t, right?). With fall weather comes fall fashion trends and wardrobe transition! It’s time for trench coats, light wool jackets, and tweed or houndstooth coats.
You can transition your summer shoes such as wedges or this season’s trends of strappy sandals, t-strap sandals, and men’s inspired lace-ups and loafers, wedges, or the always necessary boots.
Fall weather is also referred to as “sweater weather” where you can step outside in a warm, snuggly sweater, jeans, and ballet flats. Some of my favorite sweaters are long cardigans, cableknits, and oversized sweaters.
But let’s not forget about our other favorite accessory, purses! This season it’s all about satchels, crossbody purses, and oversized clutches!
There you have it, some of my favorite fall trends. What are some of your favorite trends this Fall?
Have you considered fashion blogging?! Because you have an eye for amazing clothes! Sweater weather – I am beyond excited for it! Unfortunately, we are experiencing 80 degree weather … don’t they understand my need for fall clothes? 🙂 It’ll come, for now, I’ll just crush on all the lovely clothes you’ve got in this post. Double thumbs up!
Hahahha I can barely survive food blogging lol!! But I do love shopping and clothes 🙂 Tell your weather to get on board!! It’s fall!
So I just realized that my comments on WP sites are not going through…hmmm hopefully this one will.
I love all the picks, Zainab! My favorite is the ballet pink blazer. So chic!
This post reminds me of my very first apron which read, ‘Born to shop, forced to cook!’ ;D
Have a splendid weekend.
xo
I must have missed your other Fashion Fridays…I was so surprised to see it here! But it was a nice surprise! I need to replace some boots this year…happy shopping for me! Love that red bag too!
Oh yes thanks!!
I’ve never been so excited for fall fashion. When I was younger always thought it was the worst because you just covered everything up with a big old coat…of course that’s changed with age and a more mature fashion sense. Haha…omg soo many cute boots out there these days..I could spend hours upon hours shopping for shoes. I love you picks…especially that ballet pink blazer/coat. SUPER CUTE!!! ^_^
…Heh this just reminded me of the very first apron my mom ever bought me! It was covered with handbags and shoes and read, ‘Born to Shop, Forced to Cook.’ ;D
Have a fabulous weekend.

I love fall clothing, and I need a new coat and sweaters. These picks are beautiful!
Thanks Marcie!!
Love this new Friday theme. 🙂 I also love shopping for Fall/Winter the most of all the seasons. Happy shopping, my friend!!
Thanks Tina!!
I am sooooo in love with those Tony Burch riding boots!! I need them in my life! 🙂
Right Renee?? Me too!!
I love the camel and pink coats! I love peacoats and pretty coats in general, but get zero use out of them. Not to keep harping on about it, but FL… boots, coats… they sit in bins forever! Haha. I’m looking for a fringe purse this fall, and I’m also looking for a two-tone or tri-tone watch. One that will be very versatile! And also some scalloped edge heels! That’s on my fall wishlist. 🙂 I’m an accessories junkie. Have a great weekend, Zainab! TGIF!
Ok girlfriend I love your fall wish list and want it all 🙂
It’s not sweater weather yet here in LA, although that seems to be the only item to buy in the stores. I couldn’t find many short sleeve tops (LA-Fall-Attire) when I looked yesterday. Anyway… Love those wedges and knee high boots. And that herringbone wrap jacket is amazing!!
Luci’s Morsels – fashion. food. frivolity.
gahhhhhhh you make me want to shop!
Hahahha!!
Aggghhh….those Tory Burch riding boots! Seriously swooning!
I want them!!!
Please come be my personal shopper. Pretty please?
Happily 🙂
