Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie
This filling and healthy blueberry oatmeal smoothie is packed with protein and fiber and is perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack!
Now that it is summer, I am back in the smoothie for breakfast game. Are you like me and need a quick breakfast in the morning? With two kids under 4, I have zero time in the morning and the only time I can eat is when I am driving. Smoothies are seriously the best grab-and-go breakfast there is and they are good for you so it makes it easy for a healthier start to the day. If I wasn’t against cold beverages in the winter, I would have it year round. This blueberry oatmeal smoothie is the newest addition to my morning routines and I think you will love it too. Just look at that color???
The recipe for this blueberry oatmeal smoothie comes from a new cookbook I am loving. The Protein Smoothie Bible by Erin Indahl-Fink of the popular blog Delightful E Made. It’s filled with refreshing, healthy smoothies loaded with fresh ingredients, protein, and big flavors. If you are looking for a way to jumpstart your healthy mornings, these smoothies are a great place to start as they will energize you and even help you with your weight loss when you replace a meal with one of them.
This blueberry oatmeal smoothie was the first of the many I made from the book as I had leftover blueberries from this lemon blueberry cake. Filled with oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and fresh blueberries, this smoothie is a great treat. It is filling and will keep you satisfied all morning long.
If you are like me and love your grab-and-go breakfasts, try this smoothie and be sure to purchase a copy of The Protein Smoothie Bible to add to your collection. You will never be bored with your smoothies again.

Oh my goodness, this smoothie recipe makes me so happy!
I love oatmeal smoothies because drinky things never make me feel full, no matter how many calories are in them–the only exception to this is oatmeal smoothies. Put oatmeal in a smoothie and I am full for hours. and yes I’ve actually got all those ingredients in the cupboard and fridge (this never happens!). I’m off to make it now.
