This tart is a chocolate lover’s dream! The crust is made with crushed Oreos pressed into the tart pan. Next, the ganache filling is made with melted chocolate chips mixed with heavy cream, butter, and a splash of vanilla.

I love that this chocolate tart uses only simple ingredients that are in most pantries. It’s easy to whip up for any occasion like Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or as a fun weeknight dessert. 

It’s a great tart to make during the summer since it requires no baking and only needs 2 hours to set in the refrigerator. It’s perfect for garnishing with fresh summer fruit like raspberries or strawberries.

You only need a few ingredients to make this delicious tart.

  • Oreo crumbs
  • unsalted butter
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • heavy whipping cream
  • unsalted butter
  • pure vanilla extract
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries, cocoa, fresh flowers, and/or sea salt

How to Make No Bake Chocolate Tart

Add melted butter and chocolate to cookie crumbs and mix until combined.

Put some non-stick spray on a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.

Firmly press the Oreo mixture into the tart tin with a spoon or your fingers. Make sure to cover the base and sides. Chill the base in the freezer for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the chocolate ganache.

Next, make the chocolate ganache filling. Add the whipping cream and butter to a small saucepan.

Warm everything together over medium-low heat until the butter is melted and the cream is steamy. The cream mustn’t boil.

Once hot, pour the cream mixture over the chocolate chips.

Let stand for one minute, then whisk together until smooth and add the vanilla.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the tart shell.

The ganache filling is poured into the Oreo tart.

Smooth the top of the chocolate with a spatula and let cool for 10 minutes. Then place in the refrigerator and cool until set for about 2 hours or overnight.

Garnish with fresh flowers, cocoa, sea salt, and fruit like raspberries. Serve and enjoy!

For Crust:

  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 2/3 cups Oreo crumbs

For Dark Chocolate Ganache Filling:

  • 1 ⅓ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Garnish:
  • Fresh raspberries, cocoa, fresh flowers and/or sea salt.
