Hey there, and welcome back, friends.

You are in for a treat!

Blood Orange Cocktail

I love blood orange, and I regularly make desserts with it. Today, I decided to make it the star of a cocktail. I paired blood orange juice with mezcal, which turned into a delicious cocktail.

This cocktail is easy to make. You add a few ingredients together like blood orange juice, mezcal, agave syrup, and tonic water; stir and enjoy.

It’s a great cocktail for serving at parties year-round. It is also a fantastic mezcal summer cocktail. The bright red color of this drink makes it stand out, especially when you decorate it with slices of blood orange.

Blood Orange Mezcal Cocktail

There are a variety of alcohols you can make a blood orange cocktail with, but for this one, I used mezcal. The smoky mezcal and the sweet-tart taste of blood orange make this drink outrageously delicious!

Mezcal is similar to tequila but during the process of making it, it gets this delicious smoky flavor. Oh my! It’s so good in this cocktail.

The savory smokiness of the mezcal really makes the blood orange stand out.

If you love blood orange as much as I do, I have a ton of recipes that use this delicious orange. Try out my Blood Orange Moscow Mule, Blood Orange Vanilla Martini, and Blood Orange Meringue Pie
