Peppermint White Russian
Hey there, and welcome back, friends.
You are in for a sweet treat!
Peppermint White Russian
Get festive this holiday season with this Peppermint White Russian Cocktail. This delicious cocktail has a subtle peppermint flavor that is perfect for celebrating with your friends and family.
This drink transforms a White Russian into a festive drink. There’s something special about peppermint over the holidays and winter season. I love enjoying peppermint-flavored cookies, baked goods, and even drinks.
What I love about this cocktail is it uses simple ingredients. The vodka is infused with candy cane, and the cocktail glass is dipped into melted white chocolate and crushed candy cane. You can use any plain-flavored vodka and flavor it with a few candy canes.
This cocktail is easy to make for yourself or a crowd. Who wouldn’t love some coffee liqueur and peppermint vodka?
Peppermint White Russian Ingredients
- vodka
- a few candy canes
- some white chocolate
- coffee liqueur
- heavy cream
- ice cubes
How to Make a Peppermint White Russian
Start by breaking two of the candy canes into three pieces each.
Add the vodka and the pieces of the two candy canes to a small container.
Cover and shake until the candy canes are covered in vodka.
Allow it to sit for one hour until the vodka is infused with peppermint.
Meanwhile, place the other two peppermint sticks into a plastic bag. Use a hammer to break up the candy canes into little pieces gently.
When you are ready to make your drink, melt your white chocolate on a plate and dip the rim of your glass into the chocolate. Add your crushed peppermint onto another plate and dip your melted chocolate rim into the peppermint bits.
Place your ice into your glass until it’s ¾ full.
Continue by pouring the vodka and coffee liqueur into a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes.
Shake well until combined and cold. Pour into the prepared glass.
Top with your heavy cream.
Stir to combine.
Serve immediately and enjoy! Garnish with extra candy canes if desired.
